Lee Gardenswartz is a partner in Gardenswartz & Rowe, a nationally-renowned diversity training and consulting firm, and is the co-author of Managing Diversity: A Complete Desk Reference and Planning Guide, Diverse Teams at Work and the Global Diversity Desk Reference. For more than 25 years, she has consulted with clients such as Cox Communications, Progress Energy, Harvard University, and Starbucks, assisting them to build more productive work environments. Her mission is helping people take charge of their lives and maximize joy and potential.
Jorge Cherbosque is the co-director of the UCLA Staff and Faculty Counseling Center. He is also an international trainer, consultant and coach for organizations such as the Young Presidents' Organization, Ford Motor Company, Chase Manhattan Bank and Knight Ridder Digital. His passion lies in helping people rediscover joy and possibilities in their lives.

Cofounder and President of Near Bridge, Inc., Ken Beller is the lead author of the highly praised book, The Consistent Consumer: Predicting Future Behavior Through Lasting Values.
An accomplished international business leader, Ken has lived and worked in 20 countries across North America, Europe, and Asia. Throughout his career, he has successfully developed, implemented, and run multicultural and cross-functional initiatives for some of the world's most prominent companies, including General Electric, Daimler Benz, Applied Materials, and NASA.
With a diverse educational background, Ken holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and he is a graduate of GE's prestigious Chemical and Materials Management training program. He serves on a corporate board and is a member of several community not-for-profit boards.

Dr. Moore currently serves as Director of Diversity at The Bush School in Seattle, WA. Dr. Moore received his Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies at the University of Iowa. Dr. Moore is an ex-student athlete and remains committed to the influence of athletics and academics in the lives of all students. Dr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell College in Mount Vernon Iowa, in Political Science. He received his Masters of Arts in Educational Administration from Loras College in Dubuque Iowa. Recognized for his ability to motivate students of all ages into action, Dr. Moore continues to be invited to teach/speak locally, nationally and internationally on issues related to diversity, cultural competency, white privilege, oppression and self-esteem. Dr. Moore is an active member of Brothers of the Academy (BOTA) and maintains an energetic, positive and caring attitude. Lastly, Dr. Moore is the founder and program director for the white privilege conference.

John Dineen is a Training and Information Specialist for the Center for Continuing Education in Rehabilitation and Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) Northwest in Mountlake Terrace, WA. He has thirteen years of experience providing training and technical assistance to community-based providers of employment services in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Alaska. He has worked in rehabilitation counseling, a group home parent for children with severe behavior disorders, and has served on the Board of Directors for a local non-profit.
His areas of expertise include: job development, behavior support, job carving, ethics and values, career development and assessment, long-term support, networking with the community, and negotiation.
John earned an M.A. in Human Development from the University of Kansas and a B.S in Psychology from Montana State University. He has also completed Ph.D. coursework in supported employment at the University of Washington.
Don Brandon is the Director of the Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) Northwest in Mountlake Terrace, WA. He served as the first system-wide ADA Coordinator for the University of Alaska from 1993 to 1997, and then as the State of Alaska's ADA Coordinator from 1997 to 2007. Don has also worked with the U.S. Department of Justice's attorneys investigating local government compliance during Project Civic Access. He understands the unique challenges of compliance under Title II of the ADA and has worked diligently to demystify the ADA requirements for local government officials for over 15 years.
Don is an expert on reasonable accommodations, accessible design and implementation, and systematic program review and evaluation. He has advanced skill in mediation of ADA disputes in employment and accessibility. Don is a gifted trainer and motivator of professionals, bringing a down-to-earth style that invigorates and enlightens participants on disability issues.
Don has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Charleston Southern University and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for an additional two years of graduate study.

Dr. Rita Boags is a principal consultant at Leadership
Technologies, LLC
and has authored numerous works on mentoring, diversity and leadership
development strategies. Among her contributions to publications are Black
Enterprise Magazine, The Los Angeles Executive, EEO
Forum, The Woman Engineer, The Cultural Diversity Sourcebook, and The
Cultural Diversity Fieldbook Supplement. Private publications include, Implementing

Dr. Boags’ model of human resource development evolved from years of study and work in community, academic and corporate settings. Since her graduation with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern California as a Ford Foundation Fellow, she has accumulated a wide variety of professional experiences which shaped her educational philosophy and organizational approaches.
She has addressed a number of professional organizations that include the American Corporate Council Association, The Minority Corporate Council Association, the National Association on the Commissions on Women, the 2005 Boeing Global Diversity Summit, and many more.

Ruth Simeon is a senior consultant at Leadership
Technologies, LLC who for the last twenty-five years has been addressing
the issues of diversity across auto, insurance, banking, pharmaceuticals and
food industries. She has worked with such renown diversity consultants as Dr.
Price Cobbs and Dr. Rita Boags. Ms. Simeon has assessed discriminatory leadership
practices, conducted diversity and management workshops and helped build sustainable
mentoring programs.
As an executive in the nonprofit sector and senior manager in the aerospace
and utility industries, she created diversity interventions and programs
which helped resolve tensions in South Central Los Angeles and overcome
discriminatory practices in hostile and consent decree environments.
Ms. Simeon was Director of Training for the Pan American
Games and was responsible
for the cultural awareness training of 35,000 volunteers for the Games. As
an Arthur Anderson-certified trainer she was responsible for culturally sensitive
training delivered to staff from fifty-four countries around the world.
Ms. Simeon has maintained several rewarding cross-cultural mentoring relationships
through the years. She is currently an Executive Advisor
for the California Diversity Council, which recently conducted a stimulating Diversity Conference
and a Women In Leadership Symposium in partnership with the University
of Southern California. Ms. Simeon was appointed by Mayor Villaraigosa as a
Los Angeles City Commissioner for the Workforce Investment Board.

Dr. Ella Bell is a professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, an author, speaker and consultant. She launched a project in partnership with the UCLA Anderson School of Business called Ascent - a national, not-for-profit organization committed to the professional development and corporate career advancement of multicultural women.
Dr. Bell is often contacted by the media for her opinions about women of all races in the workplace, and she has consistently shown herself to be a leader in cutting edge research and writing on these matters. She has been quoted in the press in publications such as the Chicago Tribune, BusinessWeek and Newsday. Dr. Bell often speaks on this topic on both radio and television programs.
She received her BA from Mills College of Education, her master's from Columbia University, and her PhD from Case Western Reserve University. She has held academic appointments at numerous universities including Yale University, the University of Massachusetts, MIT, and the University of North Carolina.
